Nine floors down. Pay attention.

Hotel Liminal gives you one corridor and two buttons. One says there is an anomaly. One says there is not. Only one of them takes you closer to the exit.

Look at everything

Step out of the elevator and walk the floor. The paintings, the doors, the signs, the lights, the carpet, the windows. Nothing announces itself. A door that was closed is open. A painting hangs an inch lower than it did yesterday. Or nothing has moved at all, and the only thing standing between you and the next floor is your own doubt.
