About This Game

"Wail of Despair" follows a poor unfortunate girl who's alone after her parents drop her off at her local fast food play place. As she enters the colorful tunnels, a stranger follows her inside, and soon she descends into a vibrant nightmare.

A cute horror game where you must guide a girl through increasingly strange tubes, help her survive, and arrive at one of multiple conclusions.

  • A vibrant colorful yet nostalgic setting with a gurgling darkness that's ready to consume you; a stylized world that you explore as you make your way through these impossibly large and decorated series of tunnels.

  • An original soundtrack full of ambient noise, shoegaze and ethereal music to strike a balance of a horrific yet empathetic atmosphere.

  • Surreal and liminal vibes meet childlike innocence and curiosity to an evil they do not yet fully comprehend.

  • A strong sense of mystery with a story told out of order, with hard jump cuts and dialogueless voice acting, with multiple endings based on your actions.

  • Strange horrors lurk in this kaleidoscopic psychological descent.
