What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are developing LINCH with player feedback to improve card balance, the clarity of the rules, and the experience of playing against another player or a bot. Early Access lets us refine the game while its mechanics and presentation continue to evolve.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The date for leaving Early Access is currently unknown. We will share further information through Steam announcements when we have a realistic timeframe.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine the existing modes, balance, interface, and overall stability using player feedback. Experimental features may change or be revised.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version offers first-person card duels for two players online and solo matches against a bot, bonus cards and punishment animations, in-game voice chat, customizable controls, and an interface in 14 languages. An experimental Durak mode is also available. Balance, performance, and experimental mechanics are still being refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will stay the same when LINCH leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please use the Steam community discussions to report bugs and share feedback about card balance, rules, controls, and online play. When reporting a problem, include the steps to reproduce it and your system specifications where relevant. We will use this feedback to help prioritize changes and share progress through Steam announcements.”

About This Game

Cards on the table. Your life at stake.

LINCH is a first-person card horror game for a duel with a friend or a bot. Face your opponent in a cramped train compartment under the dealer’s watch. Beat incoming cards, play bonuses, and protect your health: losing rounds brings brutal punishment.

Face a friend or a bot

Play one-on-one online or choose a solo match against a bot. Online duels require each player to own a copy of LINCH and have an internet connection.

Choose your response

Keep track of your hand, health, and bonuses. Decide when to defend, when to pick up the cards, and when to turn the match around with a bonus card. Each turn has a time limit.

Horror at the card table

The dealer, cramped compartment, sounds of the train, and punishment animations turn a card match into a fight for survival. The game contains blood and graphic violence.

Available in the current version

  • First-person card duels: two-player online matches and solo play against a bot.
  • A main mode featuring damage, bonuses, and punishments.
  • An experimental Durak mode with trump cards and attack-and-defence rules.
  • In-game voice chat and customizable controls.
  • Interface support for 14 languages.

LINCH is in Early Access. Balance, the interface, and experimental mechanics may change during development.
