About This Game

Staircase 8 is a short (~1–2 hours) anomaly-spotting game that will put your observation skills to the test. Inspired by games like The Exit 8, The Cabin Factory, and other anomaly-based walking simulators.

Find your way out of an endlessly repeating Victorian stairwell.

How to play: 

  • Start by going upstairs.

  • If you don't notice any anomalies, keep going up.

  • If you spot an anomaly, turn around and head back downstairs.

  • Make it past Staircase 8 to escape.

Note: Going downstairs will also increase the staircase number if you made the correct choice.
