About This Game

The night fights back.

Brass, blood and a battle for every street. Stake & Fang pits a team of five Slayers against five Vampires in a gothic first-person hero shooter. Bring precision, firepower and hunter's tools to the fight—or close the distance with claws, curses and supernatural movement.

Bring the dawn. Or stop it.

The Slayers must escort the Dawn Engine, a mobile UV weapon, through the streets. The Vampires must halt its advance. Fight over the route, hold the next checkpoint and keep the enemy away from the engine. Then switch factions: both teams get a turn at the hunt, and the better escort performance wins.

Fourteen heroes. Four abilities. Your role.

Pick a DPS hero to pressure the enemy, a Support to sustain your team, or a Tank to lead the fight. Every hero brings a four-ability kit, including a movement skill and an ultimate. With one Tank slot per team, timing, positioning and complementary picks matter.

Slayers

Make every shot count. Fight with Rook's shotgun, Rife's sniper rifle, Duffy's crossbow, The Priest's revolver, Helsing's dual revolvers, Grimm's axe or The Gentleman's umbrella gun. Combine your weapon with traps, healing, protective abilities and tools for controlling the street.

Vampires

Take the fight beyond the firing line. Strike with Vesper, Nos or Vander; support the hunt as Royal or The Witch; or lead the assault as Dracula or The Ghoul. Become a swarm of bats, bind an enemy with a puppet hex, or rally your allies beneath Royal's Blood Moon.

The stake system: down, revive, finish.

Bringing a Vampire down is only the beginning. At zero health, Vampires collapse and can crawl toward safety while their bleed-out timer runs down. A teammate can hold a six-second revive to bring them back at half health. Slayers can close in and finish a downed Vampire with a single stake strike, turning a possible rescue into sparks and smoke. Stakes deal 75 damage against standing Vampires; gunfire and other attacks cannot finish a downed target. Protect the rescue—or risk getting close to end it.

Battlegrounds of the night

At the start of each new match, the server randomly selects Saint Orison, Mourning Hollow or Blacktide Harbour. Both rounds take place on the same map, giving each team a turn to attack and defend the same route. Players do not choose the map.

Saint Orison

In the match rotation

Fight through gothic stone streets, lamp-lit passages and rooftop approaches. Use cover to cross firing lanes, find another angle on the Dawn Engine and turn the next corner to your advantage.

The church · The central bell tower · Rooftops over the streets

Mourning Hollow

In the match rotation

Push through a foggy graveyard where tombs, headstones and trees break up the fight. Move between cover, watch the gaps through the mist and contest the Dawn Engine among the graves.

The cemetery approach · The eastern tomb · Lamp-lit cemetery paths

Blacktide Harbour

In the match rotation

Fight along weathered timber docks, past cargo cover and an old sailing ship. Cross the waterfront beneath green and pink northern lights, with the fishing town and mountains beyond.

The old sailing ship · The waterfront · Wharf beneath the aurora

Role-based passives

Every role has a faction-specific passive alongside its four active abilities. Supports on both sides also build ultimate charge by restoring teammates' missing health; self-healing and overhealing do not count.

Slayers DPS / Hunter's Rhythm
A kill or damage assist makes your next manual reload 20% quicker. You have 6 seconds to begin it; further eliminations refresh the window without stacking.

Vampires DPS / Nightstalker
After 1 second in deep darkness, Vesper, Nos and Vander become semi-transparent, never fully invisible. Attacks, abilities, damage, direct light and reveals expose them. Teammates retain a friendly marker.

Slayers Tank / Unyielding
Grimm and Helsing suffer 30% less knockback and pull displacement, and slows are 20% weaker. Roots and stuns still work.

Vampires Tank / UV Resistance
Dracula and The Ghoul take 25% less UV damage, helping them hold ground against the Slayers' light.

Slayers Support / First Responder
The Priest and Duffy move 10% faster toward a living teammate below 50% health within 20 metres.

Vampires Support / Blood Bond
Royal and The Witch recover 15% of the health they actually restore to other teammates, up to 8 HP per second. Overhealing and self-healing cannot trigger it.

The fight at a glance
