About This Game

Before poker, there was Brag.

Three Card Brag is the classic British card game of bluffing and nerve, and one of poker's oldest ancestors. Three cards, rising stakes, and one question every hand: do you see your cards, or play blind?

Midnight Brag takes you into five late-night clubs, each run by a boss who has never lost at their own table. Learn the game, earn your seat, and beat them one by one. Then take your skills to live tables against real players, in VR or on a flat screen.

How it plays

• Stakes rise every round. Raise to double them on the spot, or hold your nerve as they climb on their own.
  
• Play blind for a cheaper stake, or look at your cards and play seen.
  
• When you can't match the stake, go to Last Stake: your chips stay in, and the pot is settled fairly.

New to Brag?

If you know poker, you already know half of it. Hands are ranked like poker but with three cards, and a three of a kind, called a prial, is the best hand in the game. Rowan, your guide, will teach you the rest at your first table.
