The family chess set sits forgotten in the playroom, and this morning someone stuck a note on the lid: DONATE? Pip, a little pawn with a sprout on his head, sets out to prove everyone wrong.

Roll across the house

Travel through five rooms: the backyard picnic, the bubble bath, the playroom, the living room and the dark under the bed. Every run rolls a new board-game map full of buttons to collect, treasures, surprises and shortcuts.

Bend the rules of chess

Friends from other games bring their most famous rules into chess: checkers' big hop, Ludo's lucky six, xiangqi's cannon, a Joker card. Bring up to two House Rules into a match and short games turn gloriously chaotic.

Beat rivals from other games

Face Kingme, Flyin' Dee, Boom Boom, Jolly Joker and Old Rook: five bosses, each with their own tricks and a little life lesson.
