About This Game

On Setspace, anything is possible

A message board used for job listings, now also the home of a not-so-underground memory trade. Thanks to experimental advances in underground medicine, anyone can buy a kit, dig through their mind, and sell whatever they find.

Here are 10 snapshots of it going wrong.

The Game

Memories of Memories Anthology is a collection of kinetic novels—linear visual novels with no choices or branching. If you like reading and existential crises, this is a game for you.

Some stories reference other stories. Some are direct sequels. You are, however, free to enjoy them in any order you wish.

Double Vision | Vidado Duobla

Wesley is an immigrant gig worker who discovers the memory trade by chance on yet another gig search. What starts as dabbling to cover a dry spell of work has him tumbling head-first into crime rings, government corruption, and the collapse of reality and dream.

Language Unlearning | Mallingvolernado

Qaiyra, second-gen immigrant, picks up a side-gig learning and selling languages to help support her family. Then a lucrative opportunity comes along to auction her heritage tongue.

One Last Turn | Unu Lasta Turno

During a usual night of poker, Chanda runs out of chips.

Experience Economy | Totaligi Travivajo

A small business owner decides to buy his way into better moods, and finds the downtime increasingly unbearable.

Academic Interest | Akademia Intereso

Nikola has made a living curating bondage experiences for self-described perverts. The dominatrix running the sessions wonders if there's more to it.

Trauma Tourism | Traûmata Turismo

Multi-millionaire Mikhaelo has a particular fascination in the lives and experiences of those on the poverty line, and starts exploring ways to feel exactly what they do.

Con-partmentalising | Trom-partimentigi

Luksa, screenname lucky_edge12, is a Setspace mod not paid enough for the horrendous posts he has to deal with. Fortunately, he's found a way to never think about them again.

Unexpected Item | Neatendita objekto

Tondra, a low-level banker overseeing kotano card transactions, flags a citizen account for a suspicious amount of transfers. After everyone insists there's nothing wrong, they start investigating outside office hours.

The Man at the Top | La Viro che la Pinto

A nameless man is the sole head of the largest memory-auction house in New Karan City. Presumably, he has a life outside of it.

Achulo

After Luchyo becomes invested in a new branch of utopian philosophy, he introduces its ideas to a few friends. A few others don't approve of his methods.
