About This Game

GARMENT LINE is a laid-back first-person factory game with a simple goal: turn an endless avalanche of crumpled clothes into neatly folded, packed products. Start alone with a folding table, then build conveyor lines and machines until the whole basement runs by itself.

A night shift with a million garments

Pull the lever and the tube pours balls of crumpled clothes into your bin. Grab one, shake it out: a T-shirt, a shirt, a sweater, jeans, a scarf, socks. Behind the glass, the reserve holds a million more. Management is counting on you.

Fold it, iron it, bag it, sell it

Everything starts by hand. Fold each garment at the table, press it with the iron, seal it in a bag and drop it in the sale bin. Every sale pays, and every work order brings you closer to your next tool.

Build your line, piece by piece

Order conveyors, turns, junctions, separators and incline conveyors from the computer, then place them wherever you want. Pieces snap together, rotate in a click, and can be picked up and moved again at any time.

Then let the machines do it

Add an unfolder, a folder, an ironer and a bagger to your line, and watch the clothes travel from the tube to the sale bin without you touching a thing. Then build a second line. And a third.

Sort, repair, organize

Send each color and each type of garment to its own line with sorters and separators. Dirty, stained and torn clothes need washing, stain removal or sewing before they can be sold: by hand at first, then with machines.

Bundles, outfits and cartons

At the end of the line, bundle identical garments, assemble outfits and box them in shipping cartons. Products are worth more than single items, and they ride an incline conveyor straight into the bin.

Upgrade everything

Earn stamps, unlock new directives in the upgrade tree and buy faster conveyors and motors. Carry three garments at once with better gloves, and clean up any mess in seconds with the industrial vacuum.

From one table to a full factory

43 progressive work orders take you from your first folded T-shirt to a fully automated factory, in about three hours. When your contract is done, keep working: the reserve still holds a million garments.
