About This Game

Management wants 1,000,000 garments folded by morning. You have one table, an old office computer and a whole night.

One night. One million garments.

Unfold and fold crumpled clothes by hand. Order stations and machines from the office computer. Build conveyor lines and watch the counter climb. Every time you get closer, the quota goes up.

Internal Regulations (excerpt)

  • Article 1. The employee is solely responsible for every garment received. Unfold, inspect, fold.

  • Article 2. Machines are ordered from the office computer, from a catalog that has not been updated since 1987.

  • Article 4. No breaks are scheduled during the shift.

  • Article 5. The quota is not negotiable. It may, however, increase.

  • Article 7. The cat is not an employee. The cat may sleep wherever it wants.

  • Article 10. Management is never wrong.

A night shift with a million garments

Pull the lever and the tube pours balls of crumpled clothes into your bin. Grab one, shake it out: a T-shirt, a shirt, a sweater, jeans, a scarf, socks. Behind the glass, the reserve holds a million more. Management is counting on you.

Fold it, iron it, bag it, sell it

Everything starts by hand. Fold each garment at the table, press it with the iron, seal it in a bag and drop it in the sale bin. Every sale pays, and every work order brings you closer to your next tool.

Build your line, piece by piece

Order conveyors, turns, junctions, separators and incline conveyors from the computer, then place them wherever you want. Pieces snap together, rotate in a click, and can be picked up and moved again at any time.

Then let the machines do it

Add an unfolder, a folder, an ironer and a bagger to your line, and watch the clothes travel from the tube to the sale bin without you touching a thing. Then build a second line. And a third.

Sort, repair, organize

Send each color and each type of garment to its own line with sorters and separators. Dirty, stained and torn clothes need washing, stain removal or sewing before they can be sold: by hand at first, then with machines.

Bundles, outfits and cartons

At the end of the line, bundle identical garments, assemble outfits and box them in shipping cartons. Products are worth more than single items, and they ride an incline conveyor straight into the bin.

The factory cat

There is a cat in the factory. It sleeps on the laundry bags, it lets you pet it, and sometimes it naps right on your conveyor. Production waits. Management is aware.

Upgrade everything

Earn stamps, unlock new directives in the upgrade tree and buy faster conveyors and motors. Carry three garments at once with better gloves, and clean up any mess in seconds with the industrial vacuum.

From one table to a full factory

Buy new blocks of the warehouse and watch the walls sink into the floor. Every zone has its own pipes, fans, lockers and traces of the people who worked here before you. 43 progressive work orders take you from your first folded T-shirt to a fully automated factory, in about three hours. When your contract is done, keep working: the reserve still holds a million garments.

Management is watching

Orders arrive from Management. Someone sits behind the office blind. You never see their face. You only see the quota.
