About This Game

The whole world, pocket-sized

Planet Pilot shrinks Earth to one fifth of its size, so you can really fly around it, while every plane, runway and building stays full size. Real coastlines, mountains, rivers and roads, nearly 2,900 real airports with their real runway layouts, and 57 cities rebuilt from real map data: more than 1.6 million buildings, with parks and trees. Fly past famous skylines and 138 landmarks and mountains, 42 of them in high detail. A real sun, stars and city lights, plus wind and weather that change every landing.

A flying career

Start with a little ultralight and a few coins. Fly passengers, cargo, VIP charters, medical flights, photo flights and skydivers, or take the aerobatic plane to airshows and air races. Work your way up through 17 civil aircraft, from bush planes and business jets to a double-deck superjumbo and a supersonic jet, and upgrade engines, fuel, cabin and short-field kits in your workshop.

Real flying, friendly controls

Flaps, landing gear, speed brakes, crosswinds and a proper stall, all tuned to feel right on a keyboard or a gamepad. Interactive lessons teach you step by step. Every plane has its own autoland: set a destination and the autopilot flies the approach and lands at the right speeds for that plane. Every touchdown gets a score. And mind the city: buildings and landmarks are solid, though you can still fly under the bridges.

Dogfights

A second game in the box. Fly from a squadron base against the Corsair air pirates: clear the skies, defend outposts, strike targets, intercept bombers, fly escort, hunt convoys and SAM sites, bust bunkers, then take on their boss aces. 15 fighters from First World War biplanes to modern jets, armed with cannons, rockets, bombs, heatseekers, radar missiles and glide bombs, plus flares and chaff.

Legends

Fly 14 famous air battles where they happened, in a plane of their era, from the First World War to the jet age. Each one has its own twist, a short history card, a medal and a paint scheme to earn.

Play together

Duel a friend 1v1, fight 2v2 team battles or fly co-op missions with 2 to 4 pilots. Online rooms are all-access: every Dogfights plane and every weapon for everyone, and the host picks the era and the upgrades.

Achievements and a secret

70 achievements across the career and Dogfights. Earn 50 of them to unlock a secret hypersonic plane that flies at the edge of space.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some of the art in Planet Pilot was made with generative AI tools during development, then selected, edited and fitted into the game by the developer. This covers the store and key art, many 2D illustrations (mission briefing, Legends, ace, medal and loading pictures, hangar plane pictures, emblems and some painted ground textures), the picture thumbnails in the landmarks list, and the high-detail 3D models of more than 40 landmarks. The game's translations were made with AI tools and reviewed by the developer. In the trailers, the opening 30 seconds of the cinematic trailer and the trailer music and sound effects were made with AI tools. The world, aircraft, flight model and gameplay were built by the developer. Nothing in the game is generated by AI while you play.
