SWORNHAND combines turn-based card duels, deckbuilding and dark fantasy. Place your cards, compare their values with neighbouring cards and capture positions to take control of the table. Every space you leave is an opportunity for your opponent.

Make every side count

Where you play matters as much as which card you choose. Protect weaker sides, set up multiple captures and combine rules such as Fallen Ace, Resonance, Convergence and Elemental to change how each duel unfolds.

Challenge other players online and on the same computer

Online multiplayer is planned for SWORNHAND’s launch: take your decks into duels against other players and prove your command of the board. Steam integration is in development. You can also share one computer with a friend in local duels, which conceal the hand at every turn change.

Two boards, two ways to think

On the 3×3 board, each player brings five cards and every space matters. The 4×4 Sanctuary expands the duel to sixteen spaces and eight cards per player, giving you more positions to control and more room to plan your strategy.

Four fortresses with their own rules

The 3×3 arenas reshape your tactics. The Hall of Runes strengthens one side of a card; the Citadel of the Moon rotates its values; the Forge of the Abyss empowers the card occupying its Heart; and the Crypt of Frost temporarily protects cards on its frozen tombs.

Explore creatures across six rarities, read their stories and build your own decks. Save three five-card decks and an eight-card Sworn Deck for the Sanctuary. Find combinations that fit the way you play.

Explore the ruins of the Oath

Progress through a campaign of 24 rivals across four domains. Listen to Jonas the Sentinel and uncover the memories preserved in the cards. Test your board-reading skills in eight tactical challenges, or face a five-duel tournament that lets you temporarily add an opposing card after each victory.

Learn, practise and challenge a friend

A guided twelve-lesson tutorial takes you from your first placement to the Sanctuary. Choose from ten difficulty levels or share one computer with another player: local duels conceal the hand at every turn change. Both board formats support two players on the same computer.
