Why Early Access?

“We want to develop Bloomstead together with players. Early Access will let us gather feedback on farming, world exploration, crafting, resource balance, and co-op play, while also helping us find issues that are difficult to catch through internal testing alone. Player feedback will help us understand which parts of the game need more refinement and polish.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We do not want to set a strict deadline. We currently expect Bloomstead to remain in Early Access for more than a year, but the length of this period will depend on development progress, the amount of new content, and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the story, add and refine areas to explore, develop existing gameplay systems, and improve farming, crafting, and interaction with the world. We also plan to continue working on balance, optimization, the user interface, co-op play, and overall polish. The exact scope and composition of changes may evolve during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Bloomstead is in active development. The core gameplay systems already form the foundation of the project: world exploration, farming, resource gathering, crafting, and co-op play. Some story content, gameplay areas, balance, and polish are still in development. The Early Access version may contain bugs, gameplay changes, and reworked features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The final price for the full version has not yet been decided. The price may be adjusted as the amount of content grows and the game develops. We will try to communicate any planned price changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather player feedback through Steam Discussions and other available community channels. We are especially interested in feedback on balance, usability of game systems, world exploration, co-op play, performance, and bugs. We will use this feedback when setting priorities for further development.”
