A loud neon-comic stickman shooter. Drop from a plane into a 60-player Battle Royale on a destructible island, plant the bomb in tactical 5v5 on 12 maps, or fight through a 10-mission campaign. Real ragdolls, glass that shatters, walls that crumble - and no pay-to-win, ever.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“STICKSHOT already has three complete modes - a 60-player Battle Royale, a tactical 5v5 bomb mode and a 10-mission campaign - plus full building destruction. Early Access lets us put it in players' hands now, balance it with real matches and grow it together with the community instead of guessing behind closed doors.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 6 to 12 months, depending on feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more maps and places on and beyond STICK ISLAND, vehicles, weather and time of day, squad pings, deeper sniper ballistics with scopes as loot, more weapons, knives and cosmetics, Steam achievements and career stats, smarter bots, and to polish performance and balance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable: Battle Royale (Solo, Duo, Squad) with public matchmaking and bots filling empty slots, 5v5 bomb mode on 12 maps (online and against bots), the full campaign, destruction, knives and fair cosmetics. Expect rough edges in balance and bot behaviour.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may rise slightly for the full release. Early buyers get every update for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through the Steam discussions and the in-game NEWS panel (which shows our Steam announcements), regular patch notes, and by letting player feedback decide which features come next.”

About This Game

Stick figures. Neon ink. Total chaos.

STICKSHOT: Comic War is a fast first-person shooter drawn like a comic book: bold colours, thick ink lines and stick fighters who fly, tumble and ragdoll when they get hit. Three ways to play, one rule: every fight looks like a panel from a comic.

Battle Royale on STICK ISLAND

  • Up to 60 players in Solo, Duo or Squad - bots fill every empty slot
  • Jump from the plane, steer your parachute and land anywhere on a 1.2 km island with mountains, rivers, a harbour, a museum hill, a neon market, a prison rock and a dozen more places
  • Loot weapons, ammo, vests, helmets, bandages, medkits, armor plates and shield potions - floor loot glows in the colour of its rarity
  • A shrinking safe zone, supply crates with rare gear and death boxes full of your rivals' loot
  • Get knocked, crawl, get revived by your squad
  • A stats screen after every round: kills, placement, damage, survival time and loot collected

Tactical 5v5

  • Plant or defuse the bomb on 12 hand-built maps: Neon Market, Stickworks, Bank Heist, Abandoned Factory, Metro Station, Hotel Blackout, Warehouse 47, Military Base, Museum, Construction Site, Underground Lab and Prison
  • Buy menu, economy, smokes, flashes and frags, wallbangs and headshots
  • A kill feed that tells the story: no-scopes, shots through smoke, blind kills, airborne kills

Break everything

  • Shoot out lamps and the lights go dark, trigger alarms, burst water pipes
  • Knock pictures off walls and tools off shelves
  • Glass windows and facades shatter, doors get blown off their hinges
  • Bullets punch holes in thin walls, big calibres tear out chunks of brick, rockets and grenades blast rooms open - floors, stairs, balconies and roofs can come down
  • Debris, dust and rubble stay where they fall

Campaign

10 missions from an office tower to a boss fight, plus 3 arenas - against enemies that flank, take cover and call for help.

Weapons that feel good

Pistol, revolver, SMG, shotgun, rifle, sniper, minigun, rocket launcher and a plasma gun - plus a knife for everyone. Frag, smoke, flash and molotov. Hit zones, penetration, real ragdolls, wounds and optional blood and gore.

Fair cosmetics

Earn coins by playing. Spin the LUCKY SPIN or open the weekly crate for weapon, character and knife skins - Butterfly, Bayonet, Karambit. Skins change the look, never the stats. Nothing is sold for real money.

Built to run fast

Made for 144+ FPS, with bots, a big map and destruction all at once. Keyboard, mouse and controller support.

Play together

Public online matchmaking on Steam for Battle Royale (Solo, Duo, Squad) and 5v5 - bots fill empty slots, so every match starts quickly.
Talk to your team or squad with voice chat (push-to-talk or open mic) and text chat (5v5 also all chat) - mute or report any player, Steam word filter included.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Pre-generated: the game's code, its procedurally built 3D models, levels and effects, the synthesized in-game music, parts of the UI art, the store artwork and the store texts/translations were created with the help of AI tools (Anthropic Claude) under the developer's direction and review. The menu music tracks were generated by the developer with Google Gemini. Sound effects are edited recordings from Kenney (CC0) and Mixkit. No AI content is generated live while playing.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Stylized comic violence against stick-figure characters: first-person shooting and explosions with red blood splats (adjustable: off, low or high) and ragdoll bodies. An optional GORE setting (off by default) lets extreme hits knock off limbs or heads. The cosmetic LUCKY SPIN and weekly crate use random rolls, but only with coins earned by playing - nothing is sold for real money. Online matches have text and voice chat between players (team or squad, 5v5 also all chat); chat can be turned off, players can be muted or reported, and text passes the Steam word filter.
