About This Game

Your Drawings Come to Life.

Dr. Genix’s failed experiment wiped out every creature on Sage’s home planet.

Now rookie researcher Sage has been sent to the Junk Planet to recreate the lost species from the doctor’s hazy notes—partly in hopes of restoring the ecosystem, and partly because Genix would rather not answer for breaking research regulations.

There is just one problem: Dr. Genix, director of the Research Planet, has no artistic talent.

His response? “If we’re making them anyway, they might as well be cute.”

Draw a body with the Life Pen, attach eyes, legs, wings, and more, and your creation will truly come alive. Release it onto the Junk Planet and watch what kind of life it makes for itself.

An Ecosystem with a Mind of Its Own

Creatures walk, swim, fly, eat, fight, breed, and sometimes even fuse across species.

A creature wreathed in fire might reduce plants to ash. A bird might carry another creature away. Something never seen before might emerge from a crack in the rocks. Even when you do nothing, events keep unfolding across the Junk Planet.

Whether the population explodes or a species goes extinct, the doctor probably won’t take responsibility.

Recreate the Creatures in the Doctor’s Notes

“Something round and cute.”

“Something with lots of eyes.”

“Something blue that moves quickly through water.”

The doctor’s memory is vague. There is more than one way to satisfy each condition.

Combine a creature’s color, shape, species, element, parts, and behavior, then bring your own answer back to the lab. As your research advances, you’ll unlock new tools, see the world change, and uncover the real objective the doctor has been hiding.

Three Researchers

Dr. Genix is not alone on the Research Planet. Dr. Sylvia studies symbiosis among living things, while Dr. Locke develops equipment to counter dangerous creatures.

Help with their research to unlock new tools and new ways to play. The three researchers do not necessarily share the same view of life.

You do not have to draw them correctly.

And whether the doctor approves is anyone’s guess.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used during development to create or assist with artwork, animated sequences, music, sound effects, dialogue, and localization, including some store and promotional materials.

These materials are prepared in advance. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay. Player drawings become creatures through the game's programmed systems, not through generative AI.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

DOOD contains stylized fantasy violence. Creatures may fight, eat other creatures, die, and leave corpses that decay into skeletal remains. Some effects depict blood or injury in a non-realistic style.

The story and certain events include threatening monsters, mutation, explosions, the destruction of inhabited worlds and laboratories, and the loss of creatures. Dialogue includes insults, dark humor, and references to death, family loss, and a character losing their sanity after repeated brain modifications.

An adult character wears revealing clothing. Creatures can reproduce, and the story includes romance and marriage, but there is no explicit nudity or sexual activity.
