About This Game

Run! Deceive your opponents! Stop them until the end!

“Maybe Hero” is an asymmetric multiplayer action game in which 2–12 players face off as Runners and Snipers.

Runners dodge bullets to complete their objectives, while Snipers read their movements and stop them. Runners sprint between cover, Snipers wait for an opening through their scopes, and supply crates offer unexpected abilities. A split-second choice can turn the chase around.

Runner — Disrupt the Snipers’ aim and seize your chance

A head-on rush is not your only option. Use cover, change the timing of your movements, and draw the Snipers’ attention elsewhere.

Move quickly with a grappling hook, or approach your objective while withstanding bullets with Stone Man’s tough body. Even if you fall, you can redeploy. Run back into the action and complete your team’s objective.

Sniper — Read their next move

Will you track a sprinting Runner with your sights, or guard the route to the objective?

Use a rifle and a sniper rifle to stop the Runners. Keep an eye on opponents hiding behind cover or suddenly jumping into view. Accurate shots and quick decisions are essential against Runners whose appearance and movements change with Supply abilities.

Three maps, different chases

Desert — Break through across open ground

Avoid the Snipers on the tower and capture the active points. The Runner team wins by securing every point within the time limit. The Sniper team must defend the remaining points until the end.

Basecamp — Find opportunities between obstacles and cover

Move between containers and structures on your way to the points. The point-capture rules are the same as in Desert, with different routes and sightlines. Choose when to leave cover and use your Supply ability.

Maze — Jump over walls and find the keys

The objectives change in Maze. Runners use their default Super Jump to move around and collect Escape Keys from supply crates. Snipers track down Runners to reach their team’s elimination target.

The Runner team wins by collecting (initial number of Runners × A) Escape Keys first. The Sniper team wins by achieving (initial number of Snipers × B) eliminations first. If the Runners do not collect the required number of Escape Keys within 10 minutes, the Snipers win.

A single supply crate can change the way you play

Shrink, grow huge, or run with an elongated body. Create confusion with clones, obscure vision with smoke, or build walls to make new cover.

Even on the same route against the same opponent, the abilities you pick up create different opportunities. Choose where and how to use the ability you have just gained.

Self-painting — Join the chase in a look you painted yourself

Paint your character from head to torso, arms, and legs. Show other players a look decorated with your own colors and patterns.

Choose a standout look or a design that matches your friends. Join the chase with a character you decorated yourself.
