About This Game

ForgeTax is a first-person roguelite where you play as a dwarven blacksmith enslaved by a dragon and forced to meet a tribute quota every round.

Heat your swords, bring them to the anvil, and hammer their value higher. But simply forging harder won't be enough to survive.

Collect relics and items, combine their effects, and build powerful synergies. Once the right effects begin to stack, an ordinary sword can suddenly become worth an absurd amount.

You only receive a limited number of swords each round. Play it safe and secure the quota, or push your luck and take one more swing for a much bigger payoff.

Keep paying tribute. Keep growing stronger. And someday, become strong enough to take revenge on the dragon.
