What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our game a fun party style first person shooter that we have thoroughly enjoyed playing during development. We (the developers) have full time day jobs, so we want to get our creation out to players, but also understand that we have more content we want to bring in the near future. Releasing the game under Early Access, allows us to share the fun with players, while getting critical feedback about the game for future content and ideas.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to have the game in early access for approximately six to nine months. During that time we will continue with our internal plans for gameplay features and development, and will be listening to player feedback and ideas.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add the following:
1. More maps.
2. More weapons.
3. Other requests/features driven by popular community feedback.

Enhancements, UI polish and overall performance is expected to improve after early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable, players may choose to play alone, with bots or with up to 6 friends in a lobby where you compete to capture and deliver a parcel. There are four weapon types: long gun (primary), hand gun (secondary), "yeet"-ables and melee. There is a tutorial to help familiarize yourself prior to playing a real match.

We currently offer have 3 maps - city, warehouse and desert.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Once we feel happy with the amount of content and player sentiment, we plan to slightly increase the price to reflect the effort. Those who purchase early access will be offered the full version at no extra cost :)”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on staying active in the Steam forums/community to get feedback or reported issues/bugs. We will also send release notes with each update to to keep players in the know. The Steam forums/community will also double as the best place to put popular ideas and requests for consideration as additions to the game.”

About This Game

Capture the Parcel is a quirky, first-person party game for up to six players. There is one parcel on the map. Whoever grabs it has to get it home. Walk onto the parcel to pick it up. Your drop zone lights up, the compass points the way, and everyone else starts hunting you! Carry it in to score, and then the parcel comes back, and it starts again!

Holding the parcel is the hard part. You move slower, you cannot use your rifle, and you fight with a pistol, a melee weapon, or a throwable. Of course, you have a few options: you can dump the parcel and shoot, throw it ahead and chase it, or you can keep running and hope they miss!

When you are not carrying, you are the enemy! Pick a loadout in the lobby: a primary, a sidearm, a grenade or an kamikaze drone, and something to swing. Frags, flashes, and smoke can change a chase. The drone lets you fly in and hit the fight from the air!

Matches play out on City streets, a Desert camp, or a Warehouse floor. Learn the loop in a short tutorial, fill empty slots with bots, then host a lobby and fight over the same box until the clock runs out.

  • First-person party matches for up to six players, with every player out for themselves.

  • One parcel on the map. Walk onto it to grab it, then carry it to your own drop zone to score.

  • Your drop zone lights up when you have the parcel, and a compass points you there.

  • Carrying is risky. You will only fight with a pistol, melee, or throwable to defend yourself as you're going to the drop zone.

  • Throw the parcel ahead, dump it to shoot with your primary, or keep running and try to make it home.

  • After a delivery the parcel re-spawns, so the chase starts again until the clock runs out.

  • Build a loadout in the lobby: a primary, a sidearm, a throwable, and a melee weapon. The kamikaze drone let's you fly in and hit the target from the air...but remember, you will be vulnerable as you're operating the drone.

  • Make the character your own. Build one from scratch or randomize one. You may save as many custom characters as you'd like.

  • Matches take place on city streets, within a walled desert town, or across the floor of a warehouse. Players can leap between rooftops, and bounce off tents and car hoods.

  • Choose from the standard parcel match, switch to Deathmatch mode, or experience the unpredictability of Chaos, where each player is assigned a unique combination of gravity, speed, and damage.

  • Double jump between rooftops, and bounce off tents and car hoods.

  • Guns range from rifles and SMGs to shotguns, LMGs, and a marksman or sniper rifle.

  • Throw frags, flashbangs, or smoke, or launch an kamikaze drone and fly it into the fight.

  • Play on City streets, a Desert town, or a Warehouse floor.

  • Learn the loop in a short tutorial, then play solo against bots, fill empty lobby slots with them, or jump in with friends.

  • Proximity voice chat, controller support, and match length you can set before you start.
