What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are releasing Fish Farm Simulator in Early Access to develop and improve the game together with our community. The core gameplay systems are already in place, but player feedback will help us refine fishing, diving, boat handling, fish farming, and the production and economy systems while expanding the game with new content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Fish Farm Simulator to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 9 months. However, this timeline may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the amount of additional content we decide to include.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to offer a larger, more polished, and more varied fishing and fish-farming experience. During Early Access, we aim to introduce additional fish species, fishing equipment, fish-farming upgrades, processing options, and order variety. We also plan to refine fishing, diving, boat handling, and fish care, while improving the game’s balance, economy, user interface, and performance based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the game’s main playable systems. Players can fish from the pier, dive with a hand net, use the Fish Gun, and head out on a fishing boat to catch fish with a trawl net. They can also raise and breed fish in sea cages, manage feeding and fish care, build processing lines, fulfill orders, and manage their business finances. Additional activities include discovering fish species to complete the Field Guide, arranging equipment around the harbor, and building a bond with the harbor cat.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“
We plan to offer Fish Farm Simulator at a lower price during Early Access as a thank-you to players who support its development. The price may gradually increase as significant new content and features are added, with a final increase planned when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of the development of Fish Farm Simulator. We will regularly monitor suggestions, bug reports, and player feedback through Steam Discussions and our Discord server. Feedback on fishing, diving, boat handling, fish farming, production, and the in-game economy will help us balance existing systems and decide which areas of the game should be expanded or improved.”

About This Game

Welcome to the harbor.

The water is clear, the pier creaks, and somewhere a cat is waiting for you to come back with a fish.  Fish Farm Simulator is a cozy first person fish farming sim about building a small, honest living on the coast, one catch at a time. Turn your daily catch into a thriving fish farm, build a business of your own, and settle into the rhythm of life by the sea.

Fish your way

  • Rod fishing from the pier: hold to charge the cast, watch the bobber, strike on the bite, reel it in. Upgrade from bamboo to carbon to titanium.

  • Dive in with a hand net and catch fish where they live. Clear water, a breath gauge, and schools that scatter when you get too close.

  • The Fish Gun: a handheld vacuum that slurps live fish into storage and shoots them into crates. Silly, satisfying, surprisingly practical.

  • Take the boat out: drive your own fishing boat over real waves, follow the surface markers to a resting school, lower the trawl net from the crane, tow, haul, and bring a full hold back to the dock.

Raise them, breed them, find the rare ones

  • Place round or square sea cages and raise your catch. Feed them, treat them, clean the nets, and keep the water clean. Happy fish grow faster.

  • Breed at the breeding table with two short hands-on minigames, then watch eggs and milt fuse in a physics basin before you pour the clutch into a cage.

  • Over 30 species across six rarity tiers, from anchovies and sea bream to bluefin tuna and a few you will only ever hear rumors about.

  • Every new species lands in your Field Guide, a physical book you leaf through in first person: silhouettes for what you have not found yet, care notes for what you have.

From catch to crate

  • Build your own processing line: conveyors feeding fillet, smoking, drying, oiling, canning and packing machines. Steam rises, crates fill, the truck comes.

  • Take daily orders from fishmongers and sushi bars on your in hand tablet, shop for feed and eggs, manage loans and bills, and read the end of day report with a coffee.

  • Call the delivery truck, watch the gate open, load your crates, get paid.

Meet the locals

  • The harbor cat has its own day: it naps in the sun, sharpens its claws, watches the water from the lookout. Feed it fish and a bond grows. Feed it its favorite fish and it will greet you at the dock, sit beside you while you fish, and guard your catch from thieves. Leave a fish lying around when it is hungry, though, and you have been warned.

  • The seagulls perch on the pier, rest on the waves, trail your boat in loose flocks, and once a day sweep over the harbor looking for anything left unattended. They are beautiful. They are also thieves. Chase them off, or let the cat handle it.

Build your corner of the coast

Place racks, crates, machines and cages where you like, carry things in your own hands, sort the morning's catch flopping on the dock, and watch the day fade into a quiet, foggy night before you do it all again.

Grow your farm, discover rare fish, and make a home on the coast.
