About This Demo

Four cats have just pulled off a heist. Now comes the hard part: splitting the bounty.

In No Rest for Thieves, you and three friends sit around a table in the dead of night, attempting to steal as much money from each other as possible without falling asleep. Use an assortment of nonsensical, hilarious items to distract your opponents, make their eyelids droop, and keep yourself alert. One moment of carelessness, and the money you worked so hard to steal might just end up in someone else's hands.

How much will you walk away with? And how many grudges will you have to settle afterward?

Stealing Is Easy. Splitting the Loot Is Another Story

The heist was successful, and the goods are on the table. Unfortunately, none of the four thieves is particularly interested in sharing. Keep an eye on your friends' money, but don't forget to watch your own. There are plenty of wandering paws around the table, and everyone wants the biggest cut.

At the end of the round, whoever has the most money is the master thief!

I'm Just Resting My Eyes. Keep Your Paws Away

It's getting late, and everyone's starting to feel it. You close your eyes for a second. When you open them again, your money's gone.

Drink coffee to stay awake, then find a way to make your friends fall asleep first. After all, it's much easier to steal from someone who's unconscious.

Useful Items. Terrible Etiquette

Throw eggs in your friends' faces, stun them with a taser, or summon a tornado to scatter their money across the table. Still too orderly? Slam down a boxing glove and send everyone scrambling to recover their cash.

Some items help you get rich; others make it easier to rob someone else.

There Are Rules for Splitting the Bounty. Not for Betraying Your Friends

You wouldn't trust a thief, would you? Expect your friends to return favors with betrayal, break alliances without warning, make promises they have no intention of keeping, and turn on each other over a meager handful of coins. Around this table, anything is fair game…

Memories You'll Laugh About, Eventually

No Rest for Thieves is a small party game built around a simple premise: dividing stolen money among your friends. We hope it gives you an afternoon of dubiously good company, terrible decisions, and the kind of moments that live in long friendships. Especially that one friend who kept insisting they weren't tired, right up until someone stole all their money.

A Note from the Developers

The Demo: One Table for Now

This is an early demo focused on the game's core mechanics.

It includes one supermarket setting, four character designs, a limited selection of coins and items, and one basic game mode.

We're still refining the experience, and we'd love to know what you think. Tell us which moments made you laugh, which mechanics felt awkward, and what you'd like to see improved.

More to Come

We're working on more heist locations, unique items, game modes, collectibles, and character customization options.

For now, our focus is on getting the first version right. We'll share more about what's next as development progresses. If you like what you see, consider adding the game to your wishlist and sharing it with your friends.
