About This Demo

You're the lead guitarist. Your drummer is drunk. Your bassist is missing. The concert is tonight.

This is not a setback. This is Tuesday.

Rock Band Simulator is a first-person rock band life sim about scraping by in a rough 1990s neighbourhood, keeping your band together, and somehow making it on stage every night. This demo drops you into the first three days.

Build the band. Find some equipment. Play your first gigs. Take odd jobs. Start fights. Accept an offer you probably shouldn't. Try not to get knocked out before soundcheck.

Play through Days 1–3, with main quests, side jobs, strange encounters, and increasingly worse ideas. Start with an empty garage and a concert to prepare for. Things get complicated quickly.

One day you're hunting down a second-hand drum kit and figuring out how to afford an amp.

The next you're breaking into garages for money and discovering that someone else's easy job is now your problem.

At 21:00, excuses stop working.

Get your equipment together and perform your first rhythm-based concerts. Choose what to play next, control the flow of the set, and keep going when you miss a note. The crowd will have opinions either way.

A good gig helps pay the bills. A bad one... gives your drummer someone to blame.

Get to know Ashport: a neighbourhood of drunks, hustlers, mechanics, suspiciously helpful strangers, and a police officer who already knows you owe him money.

Someone always knows a guy.

That guy usually needs a favour.

You still need an amp.

Evgen is your bassist, your guide to the neighbourhood, and the closest thing this band has to a responsible adult. He knows people. Whether they know him is another question.

Diman is convinced he's the best drummer in town. Find him a drum kit and he'll explain why its condition is your fault.

Before you can keep the band together, you'll have to get it started.

Forget health bars.

Get used to Adrenaline (ADR) System. Hit harder in the sweet spot. Push it too far and you're going down.

Beer, cigarettes, and other substances affect your condition. Learn to hit, block, and use whatever's lying around. You need those hands for the concert.

THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW...

...and someone else who wants a favour.

Three days is enough to get the band started, earn a little money, and attract the wrong kind of attention. The demo ends here. The full game's seven-day story has more in store. Wishlist Rock Band Simulator to see what happens next.

Just remember.

The concert starts at 21:00.

Try to be there.
