Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows players to experience Wallpaper Dungeon while its long-term progression, balance, content, and
desktop features continue to grow. Player feedback will help guide dungeon pacing, loot, hero and pet progression,
quality-of-life improvements, and future Steam features as development continues.

Steam Achievements and additional Steam feature integration are also planned during development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Wallpaper Dungeon to remain in Early Access for approximately 3–4 months. This estimate may change depending on player feedback, balancing needs, and the development of planned features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand the Early Access foundation with additional dungeon content, enemies, bosses,
heroes, races, pets, equipment, gems, progression systems, and quality-of-life improvements. We plan to continue
refining balance, pacing, automation, desktop integration, accessibility, and presentation based on player feedback.
Steam features such as achievements, leaderboards, and Cloud support may also be expanded as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the core Wallpaper Dungeon experience: interactive desktop
wallpaper gameplay, automatic dungeon exploration and combat, hero recruitment and leveling, pets and pet training,
procedural dungeons, loot, gear, gems, shops, upgrades, saves, and long-term progression.

The game is still being balanced and expanded. Planned Steam features such as achievements, leaderboards, and Steam
Cloud are not yet fully integrated. The initial release targets Windows 10/11 x64; Linux support is experimental and
not part of the guaranteed Early Access platform set.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the Early Access price at its current level and may raise the price to reflect the additional content and features available when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through Discord, Steam discussions, player feedback, bug reports, and community
conversations. We’ll listen to forum and chat feedback, review suggestions and recurring issues, and use that input to
help guide balance, pacing, quality-of-life improvements, and future content.”

About This Game

Wallpaper Dungeon is a low-key interactive desktop wallpaper with a built-in idle dungeon-crawler RPG.

Your party is randomly assembled from 20 different races and heads off to explore and battle automatically. Drop in whenever you feel like it to check your gold, loot, gear, gems, pets, and upgrades—there’s no rush and no pressure.

A small solo-dev project made for casually watching your dungeon crawl progress.
