What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want what the cornmunity wants! We have a corny working game and want to make it cornier. With so many amaizing crops to add, we want to know which ones the cornmunity wants to grow first. Early Access will allow us to get feedback from the cornmunity to point us in that there right direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“~3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Enhancements planned during and after Early Access include but not limited to:
-Toon cobmetics. Personalize your toon with various cobmetics. Including cob body styles, silky tufts, different husks, and more.
-Different styles of gameplay. Including 'No Cob Left Behind', 'the Royal Cob', 'Capture the Butter', 'Combine Run', and more.
-Achievements and stats for those who love data!
-Various maze sizes and styles, more environments, and of course more doodads.
-And more!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“One environment, 6 funtastic doodads, set time duration, unlimited maze variations, pvp with up to 20 cobrunners, coop teams (2,3,4 players per team), one cobtoon character, and 4 emotes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will have a discounted price for Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“In all ways! We want feedback, bugs that are messing with the crops, and ideas that have not found their way onto our enhancement board. We will set up a voting process so that we focus on what the majority of cornmunity wants. The cornmunity are full of amaizing Niblets, Cobblers, Cobbers...we don't have a term yet... Time to vote!”

About This Game

(Trailer is on the way!)

A Maize in Mazes (say that three times fast!) is a first-person party race through glass mazes. The goal (a glorious, giant stick of Butter!) is always in sight but getting to it, that there is the fun.

Be fast to finish first but beware of what is right in front of you. If you find glass, you'll pop a kernel. Grab a doodad along the way to save yourself — or to sabotage earbody else.

  • 🪟 Glass earwhere — see the goal, and earone gunning for it

  • 💨 Speed is a trap — run fast, eat glass, pop a kernel, get POPPED

  • 🧰 Doodads — Corn Oil, Sneeze Powder, Ethanol, Glass Shucker, Cobzilla…

  • 👥 Up to 20 players — solo free-for-all or team chaos

  • 🌽 A fresh maze every round — nobody memorizes their way out of this

  • 🏆 Earn corny titles to mix and match — from Fresh Sprout to Cornsecrated Butter

  • 🎖️ Earn Achievements — from Popcorn Machine  to Cream of the Crop

It's a party game, and it knows it's corny. Ear we go!
