Chess: Blood The Board transforms the timeless game of chess into a living medieval battlefield. Kings, queens, bishops, rooks, knights, and pawns no longer disappear quietly when captured—they cross the board, draw their weapons, and settle every exchange through brutal cinematic combat.

Beneath the blood and spectacle is a complete game of chess. Plan your attack, identify threats, sacrifice pieces, and corner the enemy king while fully animated armies react to the battle unfolding around them. Challenge the chess engine, play locally, experiment with custom positions, or revisit games through standard chess notation.

Wage war across four distinctive boards, each giving the same timeless contest a different battlefield identity and atmosphere without compromising the clarity of the game.

Customize the experience to suit how you want to play. Walking, combat animations, and blood effects can each be enabled or disabled independently. Play the full cinematic experience, remove the gore while keeping the action, or strip everything back for faster traditional matches.
