Every change remains

CoreVore is a single-player, first-person voxel mining sandbox set across a persistent Atlas of mutable planets. Carve tunnels, scan for hidden deposits, extract valuable materials and deploy machinery underground — then get your cargo out before the planet turns against you.
Every planet remembers what you did. Return later and find your tunnels, damage, liquids, machines and discoveries exactly where you left them. But some consequences are permanent: if a planet collapses completely, its Atlas node is lost.

Carve your own route

There are no prebuilt corridors — the terrain is fully mutable. Switch Multi-Tool modes to extract ore precisely, clear large volumes of rock, breach resistant materials, or heat and cool the environment. Scan underground structures and deposits before choosing where to dig.

The planet fights back

The environment is not a backdrop. It is the system you must learn to read, reshape and survive. Removing rock weakens structural stability. A new passage can release flowing water or lava and expose collapsing ceilings, loose and sinking ground, extreme temperatures, darkness, regrowing tunnels, or volatile materials capable of triggering destructive chain reactions.

Decide when it is time to leave

Resources count only after a successful evacuation. Deploy your portable Escape Pod wherever you choose, clear its launch zone and start the departure sequence. While the pod prepares for launch, secure what you already have — or keep mining under growing pressure.
If your suit fails or the planet collapses completely, the current haul is lost. Your permanent equipment, storage, contracts and career progress remain. You can also leave without the cargo and keep the altered planet for a later return.
The question is not how much ore you can find. It is how much you can bring home.

A machine in the right place can make a dangerous route profitable. Poor preparation can bury the equipment together with the tunnel around it.

Between flights, sell resources for credits, fulfil local and long-term contracts, buy equipment on the Market, create tools and modules in the Fabricator and repay your growing ship debt. New tool modes, modules and machines give you new ways to reach materials that were previously inaccessible.
