About This Game

In Dub Together, you and your friends re-dub video clips together. Up to six players take on different roles, record their lines using their own microphones, and turn a familiar scene into something completely new.

Once every recording is finished, the curtain opens: you watch the final result together and vote for the player who delivered the best performance.

How a Round Works

Record
The clip plays without the original voices. You see your lines on screen and record them to match the scene. Not happy with your take? Simply try again until it feels right.

Watch
Once everyone is ready, the curtain opens and all recordings are played over the original footage.

Vote
Afterwards, you decide who gave the best performance. The winners take their place on the podium.

Give Your Voice a New Sound

Choose a voice effect for every line. Use Chipmunk for a squeaky voice, Monster for the villain, or create even more ridiculous performances with Reverb, Robot, and Telephone.

Effects are applied directly to your recording, so everyone hears exactly what you heard while recording.

An integrated noise filter removes unwanted sounds between lines and helps even basic microphones sound clean and usable.

Create Rounds from Your Own Clips

With the Pack Creator, you can turn your own videos into playable rounds.

Simply drag a clip into the program. Spoken sections are detected automatically, and the corresponding dialogue is transcribed. Voices, music, and background sounds are separated so the atmosphere of the original scene remains intact while you replace the dialogue.

Your finished dub can then be saved and shared as a video.

For Streamers and Their Communities

Connect your Twitch channel and let your chat join the vote.

Viewers can vote for their favorite performance by typing !vote, giving the community a direct say in who wins the round.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some of the artwork in this game was made with AI image generators and edited by hand afterwards. This covers the two player characters, the logo, the menu icons and the curtain texture. The English interface texts were written with the help of a language model and reviewed afterwards. The German texts are written by hand.

The bundled Pack Creator uses a speech recognition model to find the spoken parts of a video you supply yourself and turn them into the lines you read out. An AI noise filter for your microphone recordings and AI-based separation of speech and background audio work the same way. All of this runs locally on your own machine and never sends data to an external service. These models only process material you provide yourself, they do not invent content of their own, and the result stays inside your own lobby.
