About This Game

THE IMPERIUM IS RECRUITING

Every season the recruiters ride out to the provinces with their crystals, looking for the rare few born to summon. This year, in the farming village of Sabinia, the crystal wakes for a smith's son named Marius. A uniform. A place at the Academia in the capital. A creature from beyond the Veil, bonded to him at the First Summoning. The finest military training in the known world, and all the Imperium asks in return is everything.

At the Academia you will learn what every imperial summoner learns: the creatures beyond the Veil are weapons, and a bond is a leash. Hold yours tight, cadet. And do not ask what the Veil is hiding. That is an order.

YOUR MONSTERS ARE YOUR CARDS

You stand behind your creatures and fight from your hand. Every monster you bond becomes a summon card in your deck. Mana builds each round, and every choice is yours: flood the board with three monsters, or hold back and fortify your back row.

SET WARDS. SPRING TRAPS.

Wards go down face-down. Your opponent sees a set card and nothing more, until they trip it and it flips with all the drama it deserves. Enemy summoners set them too, so every face-down card across the board is a question you have to answer.

BUILD A BOARD, NOT JUST A HAND

Terrain tilts the whole battlefield toward an element. Equipment rides a monster and falls with it. Relics tick every round. Combo cards hit harder when you have set them up earlier in the turn. Damage is rarely the only way to win.

OVER 200 CREATURES

From farm-field critters to war beasts, every creature has its own summon card. Most grow through an evolution line, and every evolution gets its own cinematic. Your bond with each one deepens with every fight and unlocks new strengths. Legendary creatures hide in the world's quiet places, and earning one is a story, not a random drop.

ACADEMY DAYS, ACADEMY NIGHTS

Act I is a military academy story. Sit the lectures, spar your cohort, and take missions into the borderlands where the Imperium's enemies gather. Your rivals take the partners you passed over. The quiet one in your cohort matters more than he looks. And some assignments are not what the briefing says.

ARCADE MODE

A story-free ladder straight from the main menu. Pick a starter, fight your way up a ladder of rival summoners, take a new card after every win, claim a monster from the teams you beat, and rebuild your deck between rounds. Your story save is never touched.

Full gamepad support with prompts that match your controller. A codex that fills in as you meet the world. A quest journal that keeps up with you. Autosave that respects your time.

WHERE IT GOES FROM HERE

The demo is free. It follows Marius from his village through his training at the Academia and onto his first road as a graduate, and it ends where the recruitment poster does.
