CatPoker is a 3-player online card game blending classic Dou Dizhu with lightweight deck-building. Bid for landlord, outplay rivals with sharp combos, then spend coins between rounds on items and trinkets to build disruption, tempo, or hand-refill strategies amid shifting alliances and betrayals.

About This Game

About This Game

Overview

One steady table, three players, a whole night of Dou Dizhu. CatPoker keeps the classic core of traditional Dou Dizhu — hand combinations, reading opponents, and trick-suppression — while adding light deckbuilding between rounds. Spend the coins you earn in-match on a shared shop stocked with tabletop decorations and one-time items, gradually shaping a playstyle built around aggression, disruption, economy, or late-game bursts, then carry that build through the rest of the series.

Three players sit at the same table every match — one Landlord, two Peasants — following the rules you already know. What's different is the cats: those little decorations on the table quietly kick in when you play a card, become the Landlord, drop a bomb, or lay down a pair, giving every round a bit more of your own flavor than the last.

Key Features

- Authentic Dou Dizhu at its core. Standard 54-card deck, three-player matches, and hand rankings, turn order, and suppression rules that stay true to traditional Dou Dizhu — zero learning curve if you already know the game.

- Two currencies, two purposes. Score decides your final series ranking and never enters the shop. Coins are for building and never decide the outcome directly — falling behind never means losing your shot at a comeback.

- A shared shop, open for all to see. A shop opens every few rounds with four public offers visible to everyone. Players shop in turn order — lowest score first — and can pay to reroll the offers for everyone else too. Buy now, buy later, or reroll to steal someone else's pick — the shop phase is its own game.

- Passive tabletop decorations. Three slots, all passive. Lucky Cat, Catnip Planter, Yarn Ball, and more — each tagged to a clear archetype (disruption, card draw, bombs, Landlord play, economy, tempo...) that pushes you to keep re-evaluating your core build.

- One-time items for the clutch moment. Fix your hand, mess with an opponent, or force a key turn — items don't compete with decorations for your long-term build, but land at exactly the right moment and they can flip a match.

- Three-player drama, every match. Peasant alliances, Landlord counterplay, temporary truces, and sudden backstabs — a single decoration or item can turn a match on its head.

- Short rounds, tight pacing. Each round wraps up in just a few minutes, and a full series stays within a comfortably short session — perfect for running the table again and again in one sitting.
