Fresh boots on the ground, the US Army finally arrived! The US Expeditionary Forces update brings America into the fight, and it is completely free for all owners of Over The Top: WWI!

We are Flying Squirrel Entertainment, four passionate developers who love crafting ambitious, history-inspired multiplayer games packed with chaotic fun. Over The Top: WWI is our recent release, and today, we are very excited to welcome a new power to the Western Frontlines.

About this update:

The Doughboys have arrived, and they brought everything with them. American steel rolls in with a new armored car, a light tank, a heavy tank, and a brand-new Behemoth ready to shake the battlefield. Embrace the devastating powers of the Mark 8 International Liberty Tank when working together with your 9 crewmates inside this steel behemoth. 

Eight new American military weapons round out the arsenal, and every class now has a full American counterpart, with at least three historically inspired uniforms per class. Five distinct US regional accents breathe life into the new voice lines. The free US Army update gives you every tool you need to go over the top like a real doughboy.

Two new maps expand the front, and this update also delivers something our community has been asking for a very long time: a true first-person perspective! Complete new gun animations that put you right there in the trenches like never before.

And for the calmer moments between the bombardments: the Yanks brought a banjo to the Western Front, while the French gain access to their new accordion, and the German faction gets their harmonica. Fresh musical instruments to be used between the mud and the wire.
