What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Draw & Fight is built around a different idea: the weapon you use is the drawing you make. To get that right, we need real people playing. We want to see how players draw, whether the drawing score feels fair, and how the classes and weapons hold up in real matches. Early Access lets us tune the game together with the community instead of guessing on our own.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be in Early Access for about 2 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to replace the current drawing references with new hand-drawn ones and keep tuning the balance of the classes, the weapons and the drawing score based on players' matches. We also want to add graphics options so the game runs better on more modest computers, improve the sounds and physics, and bring more content, such as new weapons, cosmetics and places to fight, as the game grows.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is already fully playable from start to finish. It has 3 modes (free-for-all, Teams and Arms Race), 4 classes, 16 weapons, matches of up to 12 players on Steam, bots in three difficulties, proximity voice chat, a drawing collection, a daily challenge, character customization, 24 achievements and 5 languages. For now there is one map, with several weather and time-of-day variations. The drawing references are still placeholders, weapon balance is still being tuned and the translations are being reviewed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be lower for early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to follow the Steam forums and player reviews closely to decide on the next changes. Every update will come with notes explaining what changed and why, especially for weapon balance and the drawing score. We also want to hear from the community about upcoming weapons, cosmetics and modes, and run polls when there are big decisions ahead.”

About This Game

Draw & Fight is a pencil-drawn multiplayer action game in which you draw your own weapon before each battle. The better the drawing, the stronger it comes out. Then it's time to face up to 11 people in a notebook world and be the last one standing.

You have one minute to copy the reference. Was it neat? Strong weapon. Was it crooked? Go to the crooked fight, and everyone will see.

In the match the zone closes, fire, ice and explosion powers appear on the map and the dolls fly away with each hammer blow. Play with friends or alone against bots.

• Design your weapon: the quality of the design defines its strength

• Up to 12 players per match

• 3 modes: free-for-all, Teams and Armed Race
