About This Demo

Welcome to the rainy-night study room of Lo-Fi with Ruka Demo.

Write down this session's goal and press start. From that moment, the computer belongs to Ruka: you study, she watches. Every mouse move, keypress, alt-tab, mute, or system-clock change raises her suspicion, and her mood slides from gentle watching to calling you out, to warning—then to blackening. Hold still for the full 25 minutes and she smiles; push too far and you are processed, then reborn. Ruka remembers every loop and every escape.

This demo includes:

• Built-in lo-fi music with memorable English titles and non-repeating shuffle

• Local MP3, OGG, and WAV music import

• A focus calendar and Steam Cloud progress sync

• Live focus count, quiet Steam friend silhouettes, and preset notes

• Synchronized 25-minute friend sessions with no real-time chat

• Immersive mode and fullscreen control

All behavior detection runs locally on the player's device. Local music files are not uploaded.

Native support is included for Windows 64-bit, Intel Mac, and Apple silicon Mac.

Lo-Fi with Ruka Demo includes optional live generative AI features. Players may provide their own DeepSeek and StepFun API keys to generate short companion chat replies, personalized study-story chapters, and synthesized voice. These features are disabled without player-provided keys. Prompts and recent study context are sent only to the selected providers; API keys and generated content remain local and are not uploaded to Steam Cloud.
