About This Game

YOU WERE THROWN INTO A HOLE.

No sword. No rope. No plan. Just mud, crates, and a gate grinding shut above your head.

You are a peasant. Nobody is coming to save you. Every hole is a vertical physics puzzle, and the only way out is the one you build yourself — before the gate seals you in for good.

BUILD YOUR OWN WAY OUT

There is no climbing button. There are no ladders. There is mud.

- Scoop mud from the pit floor and hurl it at any surface to create a sticky anchor

- Throw crates into your splats and they stick instead of bouncing away

- Stack crate on crate to improvise a tower up the walls

- Splats rot away after a while, and everything attached comes crashing down with them

Every ascent is emergent, hand-built, and entirely your fault when it collapses.

THE HOLE FIGHTS BACK

Each pit is seeded with traps you can toggle at levers — use them on the peasants below, or leave them armed and regret it on the way up.

- Fire Vents — flame jets that roast peasants, and ignite your crates into useless debris

- Gas Traps — poison clouds that flood the corners on a timer, and only ever hurt you

- Dart Launchers — instantly lethal, and they shatter crates mid-stack

And then there's Randy the Skeleton. He's perched on a platform, he's tracking you, and he is completely unkillable. But he's guarding a Burlap Sack — and what's inside can assist you.

DON'T LIKE THE LAYOUT? REROLL IT.

Boxed in under an impossible overhang? Dart launcher parked exactly where you need to climb? Spend a Regen Charge and the hole rebuilds itself around you — one button, and the entire obstacle layout is procedurally regenerated on the spot.

- Platforms, traps, and enemies all reshuffle into a brand new configuration

- No loading, no restart, no lost progress — the pit reshapes while you're standing in it

- Charges are limited. Loot them from bodies, find them in the pit, or bank them between runs

- Every reroll is a gamble. The new layout might save you, or bury you deeper

LOOT THE FALLEN

Bodies pile up at the bottom of the hole, and they glow when they've settled. Walk over one to strip it for Mud Boosts, Crate Boosts, Regen Charges, and TrapStop Charges. Dig deeper and the drops get stingier. Loot everything before you start climbing — the pit gives you nothing on the way up.

DIE. CARRY IT FORWARD. DIE BETTER.

Losing is progress. Every run feeds the next one:

- Capacity Growth — the deeper you die, the more mud and crates you'll haul next time

- Mulligans — retry the current hole without torching your whole run. Start with 3, bank up to 10, and keep them forever

- Win Streaks — clear two holes clean, with no mulligan spent, and earn permanent capacity bonuses

- Skip Tokens — pried out of Randy's sack, they let you walk away from a hole that's beaten you

Clear the final hole and every bonus you've hoarded is wiped clean.

25 HOLES. 200 METRES STRAIGHT DOWN.

From the 30m shallows of First Drop to the 200m black of The Bottom, the pits widen, deepen, and turn crueller. Procedural generation means no two descents are laid out the same way.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY

- Difficulty modes — ease in gradually, or take maximum trap density from hole one

- Health modes — regenerating, or unforgiving

- Full controller support with tunable gamepad look, deadzones, and haptics

- Remappable controls, text scaling, and accessibility options

- Asus ROG Handheld support with tuned graphics presets for small-screen play

A MEDIEVAL COMEDY ABOUT DYING IN A PIT

Between the physics disasters sits a story about kings, grudges, left-handed handshakes, and one peasant who absolutely should not have been thrown down there. It is dumb. It is bleak. It is very funny.

The hole is deep. The gate is closing. Start stacking.
