About This Game

One crate. Five rounds. Nobody knows what's inside.

A sealed crate slides into the light and three rivals lean in beside you. Seventy shut boxes. No inventory, no promises, no way to know whether you're staring at a fortune or a room full of junk. They're as blind as you are. Read it better than they do — and sell that read harder — and you walk out rich.

Bid Rivals is a free-to-play multiplayer auction battler about information, nerve and greed.

Bid across five escalating rounds

  • Every round tightens the screw. Lie low, pounce late, or bring the gavel down early and take the whole thing before anyone finds their nerve. The close ones run all the way to the Final Bet, and those are the ones you'll be thinking about afterwards.
  • What you sit down with is what you've got. Your money goes on the table the second the auction opens. Overreach early and you'll be watching the last round with empty pockets.
  • The truth leaks out slowly. Each round drops another fact in front of everyone at once. Same evidence, four very different readings — and only one of you is right.

Buy your intel — and pay for guessing wrong

  • Buy your way toward the truth. Crack open a single box, put a price on it, drag a hidden gem into the light, or sweep a whole corner of the board. Guess well and you bid with your eyes open. Guess wrong and you paid for nothing — the room is full of decoys.
  • Bring an edge nobody else has. Take a private report to the table and see what the others can't: what's really in there, how rare it runs, whether that dull-looking lid is hiding the best thing in the room.
  • Watch the people, not just the crate. Spy on a rival and you'll see exactly where they've been digging — and the instant you do, they feel you looking.

Thirteen rivals, thirteen ways to cheat the room

  • The auctioneer who gets paid for staying in front. The insider who always knows roughly what it's really worth. The monk who wins by holding back. And Jade Wei, who can call The Last Word — a closing blow the whole table sees coming and still has to answer.
  • Play a rival and they sharpen: deadlier instincts, two more looks to wear, and a victory line that plays out loud to everyone you just beat.

Climb from the Open Hall to the Mythical Vault

  • Start where the house covers your stake, then climb. Each room up, the junk thins out and the treasure doesn't — until you reach the Mythical Vault and the pieces that surface nowhere else in the game.
  • The Open Hall never closes. Going broke isn't a state this game leaves you in. There is always a seat, always a stake, always another crate.
  • Or shove everything into the middle. Ranked puts your entire Gold balance on the table and matches you on skill alone — no wallet ever buys an easier seat.

Win it, keep it, show it off

  • Everything you win goes on your shelf: imperial jade, estate watches, meteorites, fossils and a few things that probably shouldn't be for sale at all. Over a thousand of them, and the ones worth having are genuinely hard to get.
  • Put your twenty best pieces on a public board for the rest of us to envy, flip the leftovers on the market, and build a reputation for reading a room — including on the nights you were smart enough to walk away with nothing.
