Why Early Access?

“Camping Resort Simulator has been built by playing it from day one: every system in the game grew out of real play sessions and out of watching what made them fun. Early Access is the natural continuation of that method: we want the first campers to join us while the game grows, and their real experience — what they enjoy, what they miss — to guide the next updates. We are a very small team, and direct community feedback has an immediate impact on development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 12 to 18 months. We'd rather ship version 1.0 when the game truly earns it, so the date may shift: quality comes before the calendar.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand the game in directions that are already planned: staff management, events and entertainment for your guests (open-air cinema, markets, shows), new environments to camp in, more decoration and landscaping content, deeper statistics and history, a smarter operations director, and localization into more languages (French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese). We will also keep polishing balance and interface with community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable today: you can design and run your campsite on a coastal map, host seven types of visitors who each live their holidays their own way — from backpackers with a tent to premium guests in villas —, build services and facilities, decorate and landscape every corner, follow the daily life of the resort through the end-of-day report and the operations advisor, and complete "The First Summer" campaign or keep playing in free mode. It includes save/load, a day-night cycle, and an interface in English and Spanish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will stay stable throughout Early Access. It may increase slightly when version 1.0 arrives, reflecting the added content. Anyone who buys during Early Access keeps the game, of course, at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Mainly through the Steam community forums: we will read and reply, and every update will ship with notes explaining what changed and why. This game is developed by playing and observing, and players' stories and suggestions will be a direct source of design decisions. When there is a fork in the road, we will ask.”
