What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Chaos Cinema is being developed by a solo developer. Early Access allows the community to help shape the game while new mechanics, content, and features are added. Player feedback is an important part of improving gameplay, balancing the management systems, and expanding the cinema experience over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current plan is for Chaos Cinema to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. This may change depending on development progress and community feedback, but the goal is to deliver a polished and feature-complete experience as efficiently as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include significantly more content and gameplay systems, including:

Additional cinema halls and upgrades
More movies, customer types, and events
Expanded management mechanics
More snacks, machines, and equipment
Additional customization options
Improved AI and customer behaviors
Better balancing and overall polish
More quality-of-life features based on community feedback

The core gameplay will already be available during Early Access, but the full version will offer a much richer and more complete management experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the core gameplay loop of running a cinema. Players can manage customers, sell tickets, prepare snacks and drinks, keep the cinema clean, earn money, and expand their business. While the game is fully playable, additional systems, content, balancing, and polish will continue to be added throughout development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price may increase as more content and features are added during Early Access. Players who join early will receive all future Early Access updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout development. Feedback from Steam discussions, bug reports, reviews, and social media will help prioritize improvements, balance gameplay, and inspire new features. Regular updates will keep players informed about development progress and upcoming additions.”

About This Game

Chaos Cinema

Take over a run-down cinema and bring it back to life step by step.

Welcome to Chaos Cinema, a first-person cinema management game where you take over an old, neglected movie theater and try to turn it into a successful business again.

At the beginning, your cinema is dirty, damaged and only partially operational. Clean it up, remove old and broken elements, restock your stations and prepare everything for your first customers.

Sell tickets, purchase movie licenses and schedule your screenings. Run the concession counter, fill drinks, prepare popcorn and nachos, add flavors and extras, and assemble the correct orders for your customers.

But daily operations do not always go according to plan.

Drinks can spill, popcorn ends up on the floor, customers lose their patience and supplies run out exactly when the lobby is full. Machines and stations need to be refilled, trash needs to be removed, counters need to be cleaned and bathrooms need to be kept in order.

Your guests react to waiting time, accuracy, cleanliness, movies and ambience. Their ratings become visible during their visit and influence how successful your cinema becomes in the long run.

Every day is a balancing act between service, time pressure, cleanliness, supplies, movie scheduling and money. Earn enough to order new stock, improve your cinema and gradually turn a run-down building into a well-running movie theater.
