What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Chaos Cinema is being developed by a solo developer. Early Access allows the community to help shape the game while new mechanics, content, and features are added. Player feedback is an important part of improving gameplay, balancing the management systems, and expanding the cinema experience over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current plan is for Chaos Cinema to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. This may change depending on development progress and community feedback, but the goal is to deliver a polished and feature-complete experience as efficiently as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include significantly more content and gameplay systems, including:

Additional cinema halls and upgrades
More movies, customer types, and events
Expanded management mechanics
More snacks, machines, and equipment
Additional customization options
Improved AI and customer behaviors
Better balancing and overall polish
More quality-of-life features based on community feedback

The core gameplay will already be available during Early Access, but the full version will offer a much richer and more complete management experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the core gameplay loop of running a cinema. Players can manage customers, sell tickets, prepare snacks and drinks, keep the cinema clean, earn money, and expand their business. While the game is fully playable, additional systems, content, balancing, and polish will continue to be added throughout development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price may increase as more content and features are added during Early Access. Players who join early will receive all future Early Access updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout development. Feedback from Steam discussions, bug reports, reviews, and social media will help prioritize improvements, balance gameplay, and inspire new features. Regular updates will keep players informed about development progress and upcoming additions.”

About This Game

Chaos Cinema

Run the worst cinema in town — and somehow turn it into the place everyone wants to visit.

Welcome to Chaos Cinema, a first-person management game about taking over a run-down movie theater, cleaning up the mess, serving impatient customers, selling snacks, choosing movies, managing supplies, and trying very hard not to turn movie night into a complete disaster.

Your cinema starts as a dusty, broken, questionable business decision. The seats are damaged, the lobby is dirty, the machines barely work, and something may or may not be living inside the popcorn machine. But with a little work, a bit of money, and a lot of questionable improvisation, you can bring the place back to life.

Prepare popcorn, fill drinks, serve nachos, manage prices, restock supplies, clean the halls, keep the toilets usable, choose the right movies, and make sure your guests reach their seats before the show starts. Work fast, serve the correct orders, avoid overfilling drinks, don’t forget the lid and straw, and maybe your customers will even leave a tip.

But this is not just a clean business simulation. Chaos can happen everywhere. Drop a full drink and you will have a sticky mess to clean up. Spill popcorn, serve the wrong order, overcharge a customer, run out of toilet paper, forget to refill your machines, or let the lobby turn into a disaster zone — your guests will notice.

Every day is a balance between speed, service, stock, cleanliness, movie choices, customer satisfaction, and money. Earn enough to upgrade your cinema, unlock new equipment, improve your lobby, expand your theater, and turn your broken little cinema into a chaotic but successful business.

Features

First-Person Cinema Management
Run the cinema from behind the counter. Pick up items, fill cups, prepare snacks, clean messes, restock supplies, and manage the daily chaos yourself.

Physical Snack Service
Grab cups, fill drinks, add lids and straws, scoop popcorn, prepare nachos, and place completed orders on the counter for your customers.

Customers With Orders and Reactions
Customers arrive alone, as couples, families, or groups. They order tickets, snacks, drinks, and combos — and they react to speed, price, quality, mistakes, and cleanliness.

A Rundown Cinema to Restore
Start with a dirty, broken cinema and slowly bring it back to life. Clean the lobby, fix the basic setup, restock your stations, and prepare for your first showing.

Movie Nights With Time Pressure
A showtime countdown keeps the pressure on. Serve guests before the movie starts, or they may miss part of the film and leave unhappy.

Inventory and Supply Management
Order cups, popcorn, sauces, toilet paper, soap, cleaning supplies, and more. Keep your storage stocked, but don’t waste all your money.

Cleaning and Mess System
Popcorn on the floor, spilled drinks, dirty counters, messy toilets, and trash after screenings all affect your cinema’s rating.

Tips, Ratings, and Daily Results
Good service can earn tips and better ratings. Bad service can lead to complaints, refunds, and a terrible reputation.

Stylized, Colorful, Low-Poly Look
A playful visual style keeps the game readable, charming, and performance-friendly.
