About This Game

VoxCaster is a chaotic online party game where you cast spells by shouting the magic words out loud. There are no ability buttons — your voice is the wand. Grab a mic, gather your friends, and scream your way to victory… or troll the enemy team into total collapse.

Say the spell, cast the spell

This is what makes VoxCaster unique: to cast a spell, you actually speak the words. Shout "FLAME BURST" and your rival goes up in flames. Scream "SMOKE BOMB" to blind an enemy right as they line up their shot. Think fast, speak clearly, and aim straight — spells land where you're looking, and if your target moves, you miss.
(A microphone is required — the whole game runs on your voice.)

Many casters, many ways to ruin someone's day

They're all skeleton mages in floppy wizard hats — because nothing says "serious spellcaster" like a grumpy pile of bones cartwheeling through the air after a botched spell. But each one shouts its own words:

  • Wizard — elemental nuker: haste, fire, tornadoes, and a fire storm that rains down on a whole crowd

  • Nightreaver — shadow assassin: vanish, mark a target, then burst it down before it can react

  • Ironward — the unbreakable wall: turn invincible, knock enemies flying, and pin them stunned against the scenery

  • Grimveil — hooded duelist: blink in, backstab, drop a poison blade, and smoke out before you're caught

  • …and many more casters to master — a life-draining bruiser, a bone necromancer, a shrinking trapper, and new ones on the way.

Every class has a fixed kit of spells — at least one to buff or shield yourself, the rest to wreck your enemies — always available, only gated by cooldowns. No lottery, no random cards: you know what to shout, you just have to land it. Within a team every class is unique: if a teammate took Wizard, you pick something else.

Troll, sabotage, survive

VoxCaster isn't about crisp, serious hits — it's about ruining the other team's day. Launch them across the map, blind them, scare them into fleeing, lift them helplessly into the air, or vanish entirely. Every match is a physics circus of skeleton mages flying, flopping, and face-planting.

A taste of the spellbook:

  • SOUL DRAIN — sap an enemy's damage so their blows barely sting

  • FIRE STORM — call down fire on a whole huddle of enemies

  • DUSK VANISH — disappear from sight and strike from nowhere

  • TORNADO LIFT — rip a rival into the air, flailing

  • SPIKE TRAP — lace the ground; whoever crosses gets spiked and slowed

  • SHIELD BASH — slam them into a wall and freeze them stiff

  • GOBLIN SHIFT — shrink into a tiny, hard-to-hit menace

  • …and dozens more spells to learn to shout.

Team up and win

Split into two teams — Red vs Blue — with no fixed team sizes: divide up however you and your friends want, big squad or small. Then cooperate (or turn to friendly betrayal) while spell madness erupts around you. Your spells pass harmlessly through teammates, so scream freely. Built-in proximity voice chat means you'll hear your friends laughing, screaming, and scheming from across the map.

More to come

VoxCaster is just getting started. More spells, more classes, more maps, and new game modes are on the way — plus whatever chaos the community screams for. Every update makes the shouting louder.

Built for friends

Powered by Steam, VoxCaster lets you spin up a lobby and drop into a match in seconds. Windows PC.

Coming soon — wishlist VoxCaster and be first in line when the screaming starts.
