Why Early Access?

“Caramellia is already a complete, playable game, but we want to build it together with its community. Early Access lets us listen to players to balance combat, polish the creatures, and decide together what content to add. A creature-collecting RPG thrives on its community, and we'd rather grow with your feedback from the start.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate between 6 and 12 months. We'll leave Early Access once the content is complete, the balance is solid, and multiplayer is fully polished. We'd rather adjust the timeline based on community feedback than rush a 1.0 release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand content and polish: more Dulcimals and fusions, combat balance refined with real player data, higher-quality 3D models, expanded multiplayer, and quality-of-life, audio, and accessibility improvements. The goal is a bigger, more complete experience than the Early Access version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already offers: over 100 catchable Dulcimals, the Sugar-Link fusion system, turn-based combat with 12 Flavors, 14 explorable zones with a day/night cycle and weather, breeding and evolution, and online multiplayer (ranked PvP battles and trading). It's a playable experience from start to finish, continuously improving.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price is likely to increase slightly when the game leaves Early Access, as we add content and polish. Players who join during Early Access will get the game at its lowest price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll listen to the community through Steam discussions, surveys, and our social channels. We'll publish a public roadmap, share progress with regular devlogs, and take player feedback into account to balance creatures, prioritize content, and fix bugs.”

🍬 Catch 100+ Dulcimals

Roam cotton meadows, candy forests, and jelly shores to discover a bestiary of over 100 unique creatures. Toss a Capsule, add them to your team, and complete the Dulcidex. Every Dulcimal has its own personality, stats, and rare Glaseado (shiny) form waiting to be found.

Caramellia's signature mechanic. Combine two Dulcimals through Sugar-Link to create brand-new creatures with unheard-of moves and looks. Experiment, uncover secret fusions, and build a team no one else has.
