About This Game

The world is dead. You just haven't stopped walking yet.

War and nuclear fire have reduced the planet to a desolate, uninhabitable wasteland. You are Alice, a soldier presumed dead and abandoned in the ashes of your own country, Varnisgale. You may very well be the last living human on a scorched earth, walking an inevitable path toward the same fate as everyone else.

Ashes of Alice is a brutal, linear survival experience developed by Ok Soysauce. What remains of your life is measured in the steps you can take before your body finally gives out.

Unforgiving Linear Survival

This is not an open world; it is a march to your own inevitable end. Every step down the ashen path consumes precious energy. You must manage a restrictive survival inventory, carefully balancing your severe blood loss, creeping hunger, and desperate thirst.

Permadeath Reality

You can rest, save your progress, and return later—but there are no second chances. If you fail to keep Alice alive, the journey ends permanently. You must start over from the very beginning, making every resource you find and every step you take a calculated risk.

Echoes of a Global Collapse

The big fire took everything, but it left behind the ghosts of the old world. Scavenge abandoned military barricades, ruined vehicles, and the remnants of a lost society. Piece together detailed lore tidbits scattered along the path to understand how humanity failed its final stand.
