About This Demo

Nanoquarium is a real aquarium that lives on your desktop — and this demo is a real slice of
it, with no time limit.

In the demo:

• The warm tropical community tank — buy, keep and breed its first two tiers of real-world fish
  
• Full aquascaping — substrate, plants, wood and stone, backgrounds, saved looks
  
• Every display mode, including the click-through desktop overlay — the fish swim over your apps while your clicks pass straight through to your work (the overlay is Windows-only; Linux / Steam Deck run the tank as a window)
  
• No clock and no fail state: feed it between emails, come back to fry you never saw coming

Your tank carries over. The first time the full game starts on the PC where you played the
demo, it picks up your tank — every fish you've bred, every coin you've earned and every scape you've
built is waiting for you, with the fishroom's other starter tanks ready beside it.

The full game adds: the coldwater pond and saltwater reef biomes, the rare
tier-3 and tier-4 showpiece fish, a whole fishroom of up to ten tanks, Creative mode
and 59 Steam achievements.
