About This Game

International Memes is a fun quiz game dedicated to the history and culture of internet memes around the world. Over the past twenty years, the internet has spawned thousands of iconic images, phrases, and characters that have become part of global culture and erased all borders between countries. Trollface, Grumpy Cat, Doge, Gigachad, Hide the Pain Harold, Chill Guy—you've probably seen them hundreds of times. But do you know their proper names?

How the game plays

The gameplay is incredibly simple and addictive. Launch the game, click "New Game," and the first meme appears. The image occupies the center of the screen, with a question and four answer options below. You need to look at the meme and choose its correct name.

After selecting an answer, the image dramatically enlarges to fill the screen, and a reaction message appears in the corner—an approving one if you guessed correctly, or a funny one if you missed. After a few seconds, the game automatically moves on to the next question. Two counters are always visible in the upper right corner—your total number of correct and incorrect answers.

No timers, no pressure, no penalties for mistakes. You can calmly ponder each question, enjoy the image, and remember where you first saw this meme. A full gameplay takes about 15–20 minutes—perfect for a short session in the evening or during a lunch break.

After the fiftieth question, the game will tally your score and assign you one of six ranks. The more correct answers, the higher your status in the world of memeology.
