Xenauri Riders 

Ferocious lizard fauna, vast deserts of crystal shards, and diamond-shaped mountains under an unending blue sky. That is the world that forged the Xenauri into a nation of warriors, tough as the lizards they mount. But their scaly steeds are not the only thing that helps them survive the punishing conditions of their barren world. Part of the Xenauri population becomes altari, powerful psychers able to channel energies unseen by ordinary people.

Iron-scaled faction

Xenauri are masters of the blades and close combat. Their well-known contempt for ranged combat is balanced by the high mobility of their units. To compensate for their heavy armor, the fighters rely on the speed of lizard mounts, technology inherited by their ancestors, and in some cases even psionic powers. 

Home of the nomads  

Even in the Siren System, the Xenauri follow the nomadic habits born of the harsh conditions of their world, and their bases are a faithful reflection of those habits. Explore through their bases. Pay a visit to provisional shelters made from landing craft, admire the traditional halls crowned by the skulls of giant lizards, and notice the omnipresent crystals of their homeland, their inseparable companions on their journey to a new home.     

Invasion begins 

Following the lead of the mysterious prophet from the desert known as the Pathfinder, the Xenauri cross the vast expanse of deep space and find their way to the Siren System. How do the factions of the system respond to the violent newcomers? You'll discover the answer - and much more - across two narrative-focused levels, seen through the eyes of a young Xenauri commander leading her fighters through the invasion's aftermath.
