Each expedition in Dungeon Betwixt begins before you step into the dungeon: choose your class, prepare your gear, decide what you are willing to risk, and enter with a plan. Inside, danger comes from every direction — rival adventurers, deadly creatures, hidden traps, sealed vaults, and the constant temptation to push one room deeper. Survival is not just about winning fights; it is about knowing when to loot, when to retreat, and when to turn a desperate moment into your way out. Between runs, return to your hideout to recover, craft, upgrade, and uncover the mysteries behind a world built to grow with its adventurers.

Loot Is Earned, Not Found

Loot is never just waiting in a chest. The richest rewards are hidden behind deadly traps, dungeon puzzles, sealed vaults, and encounters that demand timing, teamwork, and nerve. Push deeper with your party, solve what others cannot, and claim treasures worth the risk — but once riches surface, danger is never far behind. Seek, solve, and carry the loot out alive.

Every Strike Matters

Combat in Dungeon Betwixt is fast, physical, and deadly. Each weapon has distinct attack sequences, timing windows, and counter opportunities: longswords can parry incoming strikes, daggers punish careless openings, and a well-timed counter can turn a duel in an instant. Master your weapon, read your opponent, and make every strike count.

Escape Before Greed Takes All

Extraction is an art. Activate magical runic arrays for rapid escape, slip through narrow secret passages, or awaken ancient relics to vanish before the dungeon turns against you. The right exit can save a doomed run; one greedy delay can cost everything. Know when to push deeper, and know when to leave alive.

Build Your Hideout

Between expeditions, return to your personal hideout. Gather materials, upgrade your shelter, craft weapons and armor, and prepare essential adventuring tools such as potions, traps, grappling hooks, and more. As your journey unfolds, hidden lore scattered across the world will gradually reveal itself. Piece together lost histories, uncover sinister plots, chase legendary treasures, and turn every failed run into preparation for the next.

A Note from the Producer

Dungeon Betwixt is built by a team with firsthand experience creating and operating fantasy extraction gameplay. With this project, we are focusing on the parts players care about most: smoother melee combat, clearer class identity, fairer matchmaking, more meaningful progression, and a world built to support long-term play. We are not simply repeating what came before. We are refining the fantasy extraction experience at the system level — combat, progression, economy, matchmaking, and live content — so every type of adventurer can find a path worth mastering.

Our goal is simple: every run should start as a wager, uncover another secret of the world, and leave you wanting one more descent.
