Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I am developing the game solo and want player feedback on board building, combat pacing and the tutorial. During Early Access, I will use that feedback to adjust balance, fix problems and decide which content to work on next.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect Early Access to last about one year. The timing may change with development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The current plan is to expand the world and story guidance, bring the roster to five sects, add new modes, and develop the achievements, methods, artifacts and materials further. The scope may change as development continues and players provide feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The currently available build is the free demo. It includes the Tianhe Sword Sect and Taiyue Qianji Sect, the three-layer Bagua board, realm breakthroughs and asynchronous duels. Expeditions are in development and are not included in this demo. I will update this section with the playable content before Early Access launches.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current plan is to price Early Access below the 1.0 release. The final price will reflect the content available at that time and will be announced once it is decided.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“You can report problems and discuss builds in the Steam discussions and our Discord. I will review the feedback and use update notes to explain fixes and development progress.”

About This Game

Try two sects in the free demo

Choose the Tianhe Sword Sect or Taiyue Qianji Sect. In Path to Ascension, collect methods, artifacts and materials, arrange your three-layer Bagua board, advance through cultivation realms and face builds left by other players in asynchronous duels. Your opponent does not need to be online at the same time.

Expeditions are still in development and are not included in the current demo. Expedition footage below shows a development version.

Expeditions: treasure and the journey home (in development)

Search ruins and points of interest on a randomly generated map, gathering methods, artifacts and materials. Avoid roaming beasts or fight them. Some sites lead to separate realms where you search containers, open paths and defeat the enemies guarding them.

Your backpack has limited space, and treasures take up different amounts of it. Choose what to take and what to leave behind. Travelling farther may bring more treasure, but it also means a longer journey home. Your actions advance the calendar as day, night and the seasons change.

Build your fighting style on a Bagua board

Methods, artifacts and materials each have their own ring. Check which sectors your methods cover, where each artifact sits, its element and the effects your materials add.

Flying swords, cannons and puppets work in different combinations. A new item may strengthen your current build or give you a reason to try another approach. Artifacts use Divine Sense capacity; exceeding the limit reduces your maximum health.

Let your artifacts fight, then choose when to unleash your Domain

Artifacts fight according to their cooldowns and trigger conditions. Watch their sequence and the result, then adjust your board for the next duel.

After reaching Divinity and obtaining a Domain, you choose when to unleash it. It must finish charging first, and each side can use its Domain once per battle. Opening first gives you time to suppress your opponent. When both Domains are active, their suppression of the opposing side cancels out while their own-side benefits remain.

Share your experience

After playing, share your experience in a review on the demo's store page. You can also report problems in the Steam discussions or our Discord; steps to reproduce them and screenshots help. Wishlist the full game to be notified when it launches.
