About This Game

Your research into a mysterious ancient cult has brought you to the town of Mistyvale Oaks. Since arriving here, your investigation has caught whispers of missing children and a ghost ship, but the townspeople have mostly avoided you. You prepare yourself to dig deeper into these mysteries, no matter what it takes.

Track down new leads, discover key items, and question mysterious characters by finding relevant words in the grid. The more you solve, the more the story will progress. The story contains 3 acts, each with 10 puzzles of varying difficulty.

As you work to uncover clues, multiple leads will become available to you. Where will you dig around first: the old church or the abandoned lighthouse? Follow your detective’s intuition and play your way, navigating the story’s branching paths however you see fit.

Locals are reluctant to discuss the disappearances of several children in Mistyvale Oaks, or any possible connections to old superstitions about ghost ships or ancient rituals. With a little persistence, you can learn the true history of this mysterious town, and meet all sorts of strange characters along the way in this narrative focused adventure.
