What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are launching HANDS OVER in Early Access to involve players directly in the development process.

HANDS OVER is built around short multiplayer challenges, influence cards, bluffing and sabotage. Player feedback will help us improve balance, pacing, clarity and online play and show us which parts of the current experience would benefit most from further development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect HANDS OVER to remain in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months. This is an approximate estimate and may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access we plan to expand and refine the multiplayer experience in HANDS OVER.

Our current plans include adding more challenges and modes, expanding the influence card system and developing progression with additional characters, customization options and unlockable content.

We would also like to improve match variety, balance and presentation. These are our current development plans and they may change based on player feedback and development priorities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of HANDS OVER supports multiplayer matches with up to five players.

Players can take part in dangerous table-based challenges, use influence cards to change the odds, protect themselves or sabotage others and try to stay in the match longer than everyone else.

The current version includes the core match loop, multiplayer systems and card-based interactions. We will continue refining balance, content variety, pacing and online stability during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to change the price when HANDS OVER leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect player feedback through the Steam Community Hub, our community platforms and in-game feedback tools.

Player feedback and gameplay data will help us identify issues with balance, progression and individual mechanics. Bug reports and suggestions will also help us prioritize fixes and improvements.

We plan to communicate major updates and changes through Steam throughout Early Access so players can follow the development of HANDS OVER and share their feedback.”

About This Game

HANDS OVER is a 5-player co-op horror game where harmless trials become cruel tests of luck, nerves and trust.

Take a seat at the table, play your cards, sabotage your friends and try to stay in the game while every turn puts someone under pressure.

This is not a kids' game anymore.

Players are trapped in a cruel show, where they have to take their seats and face warped versions of games that once seemed like harmless fun.

The rules are simple.
The pressure is not.

Simple rules. Sinister consequences.

Press the teeth one by one.
One of them is the wrong one.

That is enough to understand the idea before the tension starts. HANDS OVER takes instantly readable mini-games and turns them into sinister multiplayer mind games, where every simple action can change the match.

Play dirty. Last longer.

Between turns, players use influence cards to change the odds, protect themselves, sabotage opponents and trigger chaotic events.

A safe move can become a disaster in seconds. A desperate player can turn the whole table against someone else. Each card can save you, break someone else's plan or turn a safe-looking move into a problem.

Every mistake leaves a mark.

In HANDS OVER, failure is not just a number on the screen.

A bad move can cost you a hand, knock you out of the round, shift the balance at the table and turn the whole match against you. Every punishment is visible, clear and made for moments players will want to record, share and replay.

The table is always watching.

Every match takes place in dark, oppressive rooms, among cruel devices, uneasy characters and the feeling that something is waiting for your next mistake.

The focus is always clear: the table, the players, the device and the next terrible decision. HANDS OVER is easy to understand, tense to play and fun to watch.

The table remembers every move.

In HANDS OVER, the rules are easy to understand, but sitting at the table never feels safe. A card can change the odds, a bluff can throw you off and one extra second of hesitation can make you the next target.

One by one, players lose their place at the table.

The last one left gets to smile.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains stylized horror violence, blood, a dark atmosphere, and scenes of hand injury caused by a fictional mechanical device. Players may see characters placed in tense and frightening situations around a dangerous tabletop mechanism.

The violence is presented in a stylized, non-realistic visual style, but some scenes may still be disturbing for sensitive players.

The game does not contain sexual content, nudity, drug use, alcohol abuse, gambling, self-harm, or extremist content.
