Why Early Access?

“We are launching in Early Access to refine gameplay balance and expand the game using player feedback. Roadtrip! is an asymmetric multiplayer experience, and community testing is extremely valuable for improving long-term balance, replayability, and overall game feel.

We also plan to expand the game with additional content including new cars, events, maps, items, and playable characters.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Roadtrip! to remain in Early Access for approximately 1 year, depending on development scope and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include additional cars, maps, items, events, and playable characters. We also aim to expand gameplay depth through larger random events, more interactions, improved balancing, and overall polish to gameplay systems, UI, and user experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay is fully implemented and playable. Multiplayer is functional. Dad and Kids gameplay is available. 2 maps, desert and forest. 10 items, 2 large events, random events, functional traffic ai, polished driving are all in the game.

The game is stable and designed for repeated play, but content variety and long-term balance will be expanded during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently do not plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively gather player feedback and gameplay data throughout development. Community feedback will help us improve balance, events, items, and future content additions.

We will collect feedback through community channels such as Discord and Steam forums while monitoring how players interact with game systems in practice.

Our goal is to shape future updates around real player behaviour and long-term replayability.”

About This Game

Roadtrip! is an asymmetric first-person multiplayer party game where one player controls the exhausted Dad while the other players control mischievous Kids trying to sabotage the family vacation with increasingly ridiculous schemes.

Drive across procedurally generated roads filled with random events, roadside attractions, disasters, and opportunities for chaos. Stop at gas stations to prepare for whatever comes next.

Whatever you do, do not crash the car.

KEEP THE TRIP TOGETHER

Play as Dad and make sure the Kids do not complete their crazy schemes:

  • Drive fast and drive safely

  • Manage money, fuel, and supplies

  • Stop the Kids before their plans escalate

  • Confiscate suspicious items

  • Put the Kids in timeout

  • Reach Grandma’s house before the trip falls apart

CAUSE CHAOS

Play as one of the Kids and work against Dad:

  • Pull pranks and create distractions

  • Sneak suspicious items into the car to use against Dad

  • Explore gas stations and roadside attractions for new ways to torment Dad

  • Turn minor problems into catastrophic disasters

  • Work together on ridiculous schemes against Dad to end the trip your way

EVERY STOP IS A SANDBOX

Each roadside stop is filled with opportunities for both sides:

  • Dad maintains the car

  • Kids gather items for their schemes

  • Play arcade games for tickets and prizes

  • Buy tools, toys, snacks, and suspicious contraband
