Why Early Access?

“We’re bringing Fool’s Pub to Steam in Early Access because we want Steam players to help shape the game with us.

The core game is already playable, but Steam is a new community for us, and we want to make sure the experience feels great here too. Player feedback will help us polish the game, improve balance, fix rough spots, and decide what content and modes should come next.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan to keep Fool’s Pub in Early Access until the end of the year.

That said, we want to leave Early Access only when we feel the Steam version is stable, polished, and in a good place for a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to improve the overall polish and stability of the game, especially for the Steam audience.

We would also like to expand the game with more content, improvements based on player feedback, and possibly more ways to play. Our goal is to make Fool’s Pub feel more complete, smoother, and better supported over time.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fool’s Pub is already playable and available on other platforms.

The Steam version has the main game and online multiplayer ready, but we still want to polish things, fix issues, improve balance, and make it feel better for Steam players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to slightly increase the price when Fool’s Pub leaves Early Access.

The Early Access price is meant to thank players who support the game early, and the small increase will reflect the polish, fixes, and content added before the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to listen closely to player feedback during Early Access.

Steam reviews, discussions, bug reports, and community suggestions will help us understand what players enjoy, what needs fixing, and what they would like to see next. We especially want feedback on balance, multiplayer feel, content ideas, and new game mode suggestions.”
