Why Early Access?

“Magefight: Arena is a game full of customization possibilities with a focus on player versus player action! As a result, we would like to share our game with players as soon as possible so we can learn from your experiences and make changes to the game as we finish adding our full roster of characters and arenas.

As we receive feedback we plan to add additional ways for players to customize their own characters and determine new rulesets and game types to play and share! We want this to become the definitive furry action game and we can't achieve that without community!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Based on the scope of this game, we plan for the full game to release between eight and sixteen months from Early Access launch. We have an idea of how long it will take to complete the characters and arenas we want to add, but ultimately we would like to hear from our community about what they want to see in the game and aim to serve those needs.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version of Magefight: Arena we plan to add additional characters, arenas, modding tools for adding custom characters, and options for creating custom match types.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of the game includes three characters and one arena with more coming soon.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a community discord and the Steam forums, and we plan to pose questions to our community through these avenues and read feedback our players give us.”
