Why Early Access?

“This game was decided to launch in early access to allow people to play it sooner than it is complete. This is a phase where the community feedback and suggestions can shine. I plan to be very receptive to all ideas brought by the player base and implement the most popular features in the game alongside what I already have planned.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to release the complete game within 12 months of the release date of early access, giving me enough time to develop it fully with all of the planned features. This estimation may be extended an additional 12 months if the community becomes heavily involved in the development process and demand for new features arises.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Overall, the full version is planned to be a more polished and optimized version of early access. We also plan to add features requested by the community throughout, which shall lead to a more defined full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable from start to finish, including the main storyline and unlimited free play afterward. It currently features both main project cars with full customization, a variety of other drivable vehicles (tractor, truck, minivan, V8 racer), multiple ways to earn money (farm jobs, firewood delivery, scrap metal collection, moonshine brewing/selling), a dialogue system with reputation‑aware NPCs, a police patrol system that reacts to illegal activity, street racing with prizes, and a large explorable map. Occasional bugs may appear, which we plan to fix as soon as we are made aware of them.”

About This Game

Red Life is the ultimate vodka-fueled, car building, racing, survival game! It's the late 1980s in a remote Soviet village, where you are sent by your parents to take care of the vacation house. You discover a project car in the garage with enough parts scattered around to get it running, but you have to take care of yourself by managing hunger, thirst, stress, and more.

Once you have a working car, you should drive around and familiarise yourself with the village and its people. Some will guide you toward jobs that make you money, while others give important details like where to get aftermarket car parts. But make sure to stay on their good side, if you refused to give a ride to a babushka last week, she might snitch on your moonshine brewery business.

After thinking you've done it all, you spot a 4x4 for sale, a second project car built for dirt rallies? With a gear range booster, a central differential lock, and insane versatility, you might just fall in love with it more.
