Why Early Access?

“We would like to take the community's feedback into account when progressing with the game development. Snowplow Therapy blends snow-clearing simulation, vehicle customization, building, and exploration elements. Early Access lets us test the core loop (playable campaign + Infinity mode + level editor) while gathering real player input on which features to prioritize and polish most.

“6 to 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal for version 1.0 would be a richer, larger-scale experience with expanded content, deeper systems, and technical improvements.

We plan the following for gameplay & content expansions (major focus):

- Significantly more campaign levels and Infinity mode content, including new biomes, challenges, and collectibles.
- Full development of "Tower to Mars" mode with expanded building capabilities, progression systems, and unique challenges.
- Additional buildings, structures, and interactive elements across all modes.
- Moving machines, characters, and dynamic events/NPCs that interact with the world (e.g., other snow-clearing crews or obstacles).
- Further progress on the Underworld layer: new structures, mechanics, and exploration features.
- Additional snow-plowing tools, snow-collection systems, and specialized attachments for the truck.

Truck & Customization:
- Expanded truck customization options (visuals, performance parts, attachments).

Technical & Polish (quality-of-life & scale):
- World generation optimizations to support much larger maps and seamless performance.
- Multi-language support.
- Enhanced controller support and Steam Input customization.
- Steam Achievements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop is already available.

Several game modes:

- Campaign with multiple levels: relaxed and satisfying snow plowing experience in various environments
- Infinity mode: user progresses through increasingly more complex areas. Increase in complexity requires more upgrades in terms of snow plowing attachments, truck characteristics and some defensive systems.
- Tower to Mars: a separate world combining collectibles from Infinity mode and their application for tower construction.

Level editor

Player can:

- set world dimensions
- adjust difficulty parameters
- select from menu of objects to place
- add asphalt and water tiles
- immediately test run newly created level

Upgrades system

Upgrades & unlock system is quite developed. Player can improve some of the truck characteristics, unlock new snow plowing attachments and upgrade each of them.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”
